Diagnose the structure, rhythm, and emotional integrity of a brand's story.

🎯 Purpose

The Narrative Audit is your entry point. It’s the lens you use to examine any brand — including your own — through the gears of Narrative OS.
It helps you:
Identify misalignments in voice, message, or emotional tone
Reveal gaps between intention and execution
Uncover where belief is leaking (or not being reinforced)
Before you build, launch, or rewrite — you audit.

🧩 Audit Framework: The 3-Gear Scan

For each gear, we assess:
What exists
What’s working
What’s missing
What’s misaligned

🔺 Architecture

Ask:
Can you clearly articulate the core tension this brand stands in?
What role is the brand playing in that tension? (Guide, Challenger, Restorer, etc.)
Is there a consistent voice system across channels?
Are there repeated symbols, phrases, or motifs the audience could remember?
Does the brand feel like it has a spine or does it drift?
Rate (1–5): 🔲 Structure is present 🔲 Structure is consistent 🔲 Structure is intentional 🔲 Structure is felt by the audience 🔲 Structure supports behavior change

🔁 Exposure

Ask:
Is there a clear narrative rhythm (e.g. weekly themes, campaign arcs, or loops)?
Are key beliefs echoed across email, ads, site, social, etc. — or are they siloed?
Is the timing of story drops intentional, or reactive?
Does the audience experience the brand as a living story, or isolated content?
Are moments designed to build, echo, and release tension?
Rate (1–5): 🔲 Content has rhythm 🔲 Belief is echoed across formats 🔲 Narrative tension is timed 🔲 Messaging is cohesive 🔲 Exposure deepens brand memory

❤️ Emotion

Ask:
What 2–3 emotions does the brand reliably trigger?
Do those emotions align with the product, audience, and message?
Are there specific memory markers — lines, visuals, moments — that linger?
Is emotion being manipulated or earned?
Can the audience feel what this brand believes?
Rate (1–5): 🔲 Emotional tone is consistent 🔲 Emotional intent is clear 🔲 Memory is being engineered 🔲 The work feels human, not hollow 🔲 Emotion supports ethical conversion
